There are many daily traditions at ALRM. At lunchtime, the children wash their hands and line up. They have a moment of silence and then sing the following song before sitting down to eat:

Oh, the world is good to me
And so I thank the world
for giving me
the things I need
the sun and the rain
and appleseeds
oh, the world is good to me
Bon appetit
now you may eat!
