Graduation!
Our 2011 graduation will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 10am. After the ceremony, there will be a potluck. A sign up sheet is posted in the front hall of the school. Bring your camera and bug repellent!

Music Together | A Lakes Region Montessori
Miss Mary of Lakes Region Music Together shared her infectious energy with the children on Wednesday, encouraging them to "hop-a-long" and "dance with teddy" during a morning session. The group brought sunshine to an otherwise gloomy day outside! Enjoy the large share...

Hi all,
Thank you for all your comments and "hits" on this blog as I spent the school year documenting the happenings at ALRM! The blog has had over 5,000 hits since September! I have loved witnessing and sharing the daily life of the students and teachers who make ALRM an amazing place to learn and grow.

A few announcements....
Dear Parents,
It is time to enroll for our summer program. Older and younger siblings are welcome to attend during this time. We will begin each morning by baking bread, coming together as a class for circle time, followed by Montessori work time. I would like to note that I have not charged an enrollment fee for this semester, but need to have the enrollment form completed and turned in so that I can staff accordingly. Thank you!
Also, please be aware that there are 26 children in our preschool and snack should be adjusted accordingly.

July 5th- opening day for Classroom 2 (ages 6 weeks and up)
The downstairs at A Lakes Region Montessori has been transformed this spring. Starting July 5th, the classroom will be open for children ages 6 weeks to 2.5 years of age. Teacher Lisa will be guiding our youngest students as they embark on their Montessori journey. There are currently a few openings in this classroom; please contact Robyn at info@alakesregionmontessori.com for more information and to schedule a visit.
